International PV Technology Roadmap ( ITRPV ) Forum

Due to the fast capacity expansion in past 2 years, supply-demand situation of PV market has been totally changed. The competition on technology, quality and cost becomes the main theme in the market. How to fully utilize the R&D resource and deliver the right technology at the right time? It is a very big challenge for all the PV players.

Held in conjunction with SOLARCON China, the International PV Technology Roadmap (ITRPV) Forum will publish 2011 edition of the International PV Technology Roadmap on March 20th, 2012 worldwide for the first time. This roadmap represent the common goals of most of the leading PV manufacturers worldwide and aims to inform suppliers and customers about expected technology trends in the field of crystalline silicon (c-Si) photovoltaic and sets a basis to intensify the dialog on required improvements and standards. The speakers from cell/module manufacturing as well as equipment/material suppliers will share their view on production technology trends. The dialogue during and after the forum will greatly enhance the R&D synergy along the PV manufacturing value chain.
