Call for Papers (CPTIC 2014)

Abstract Deadline: November 30, 2013
Manuscript Deadline: January 10, 2014
Welcome to CPTIC 2014, one of the largest annual photovoltaic technology conferences in China. CPTIC is organized by SEMI, co-organized by China Photovoltaic Industrial Alliance (CPIA). CPTIC 2014 will be held on March 20-22, 2014(undetermined) in Shanghai, China, in conjunction with SOLARCON China / SEMICON China / FPD China 2014 exhibitions. It will have six symposia covering all the aspects of photovoltaic technology and manufacturing, business and policies.
CPTIC 2013 was a great success. Professor Martin Green and more than 100 solar experts around the world gave presentations and reviewed solar industry roadmap. CEO of the top solar makers and key policy makers offered panel discussion, and technical workshop was hold for silicon technology manufacturing. More than 800 people attended the conference. Solar standard and roadmap forum were also held.

The mission of the conference is to promote technical and business exchange on all photovoltaic industry including but not limited to, market, policy, power grid, technical roadmap, device, design, process, tooling, materials, and fundamental study between China and the rest of the world with a focus on industrial applications. CPTIC encourages IP enforcement in China and provides opportunities for parties who are interested in investing and collaboration in the photovoltaic industry in Asia, particularly in China.
Prospective authors are requested to submit an abstract of 200-500 words and one 100 word biography by November 30, 2013. The abstract must clearly describes the nature, scope, content, organization, key points and significance of the proposed paper by using the templates on the website.
Presentations are to be original, non-commercial in that they focus on the technical business merits of a design, a method, a structure, an integration scheme, a material or a process rather than on the individual company’s product benefits. All abstracts will be reviewed by CPTIC committees. Selected speakers will be notified no later than December 30, 2013.
Manuscripts of three to six pages including diagrams, figures, and photographs, are to be submitted electronically via the Semi website. The deadline for manuscript submittal is January 10, 2014. English oral presentation materials are required by February 20, 2014. Accepted papers for publication in conference proceedings are subject to co-copyright with SEMI, who reserves the right to republish, re-sell, and display submitted material in whole or in part.
